Teaching Concept Art & Visual Development to Middle and High School Students (For MS and HS Teachers)

Class Dates: Wednesdays, June 18 – July 16, 2025

Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (PST) Equip yourself to bring the exciting world of games, animation, and visual storytelling into your classroom! This 5-module workshop gives middle and high school art teachers the tools and structure to teach concept art in a way that's clear, engaging, and industry-relevant.​

Students will explore:

• Break down the concept art pipeline for students

• Teach thumbnailing, ideation, character design, and production sheets

• Scaffold projects using design briefs, mood boards, and critiques

• Adapt professional workflows for the classroom

• Support student growth with real-world standards
